Moncton area home owners, recent buyers of new construction, and potential home buyers (first time or otherwise) are all offered incentives in the proposed 2009 federal budget.
Here is a link to a summary of the incentives:
www.budget.gc.ca/2009/plan/bpc3c-eng.asp
One of the incentives, the Home Renovation Tax Credit, is only offered for the next twelve months so it would be wise to start planning now. Note to recent purchasers of new construction - the Home Renovation Tax Credit applies to driveway paving and landscaping.
The First-Time Home Buyers’ Tax Credit is a three year program and even applies to individuals who have owned before as long as it was not in the calendar year of the home purchase or in any of the four preceding calendar years.

www.moncton-homes-for-sale.com
The url says it - www.moncton-homes-for-sale.com - and the web page tells consumers where they can find every active Moncton area MLS ® listing. But what's really important is that right up front the consumer can read about disclosure. Disclosure of Role - Agency that is. Consumers need to know the ethical requirement that REALTORS ® must disclosure the nature of the service they will be providing. Consumers have rights. They have the right to say "NO" to dual agency.

New Website For Rural Properties
rural4sale.com is my new website for marketing rural properties located in New Brunswick, Canada. I've created it to showcase rural properties for sale and highlight the quality of the rural lifestyle in New Brunswick. Now all you country boys and country girls who want a real estate agent to help you sell your rural property will have a new option.
You know a sign in front a rural property is not seen by as many people as a sign in the city. It take a lot more marketing to properly expose a rural property to the market and as many potential buyers as possible.
Please check out rural4sale.com and by all means suggest what you would like to see there.

Moncton Real Estate Activity
Moncton city single family home sales are up 7.4% thus far this year to the end of May.
Compared to the same period in 2006, the 12 month
average sale price is advanced in all area except Moncton North.
(I caution that average price information can be
useful in establishing trends over time, but does not indicate actual prices in
Moncton which is comprised of widely divergent neighborhoods.)
