It's Sold You're Moving: THE PITFALL OF MULTIPLE REPRESENTATION aka Dual Ag...: "To many, the term - dual agency means that a REALTOR ® represents both the buyer and the seller in the sale of the REALTOR's ® listing. T..."
Representing Buyers as well as Sellers. I'm licensed as an Agent (not just licensed as a salesperson employed by an Agent) so I am truly independent. I pledge undivided loyalty and full disclosure to all my principals, whether they are Buyers or Sellers. I say "no" to dual agency.
If you are a client and are represented by an agency, and if you are asked to agree to double agency or limited representation, you have the right to say "NO". You have the right to full representation thoroughout the selling or buying process.
As an independent Agent I offer my clients my personal pledge of Undivided Loyalty. I provide professional services to my clients, whether buying or selling, and information to consumers who choose to be customers. In my case being an independent Agent has a distinct advantage over being a salesperson for an Agent. Because I do not employ sales people, it is highly unlikely that I find myself faced with a dual agency situation.
As a REALTOR®, I'm proud to adhere to the Canadian Real Estate Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Practice, which requires that I provide a "Disclosure of Role - Agency", fully disclosing in writing the role and nature of the service I will be providing to you, my client.
I take my work seriously and I thoroughly enjoy representing people with their residential and commercial real estate needs.
