An energy efficient house built ahead of its time

Not all twenty plus year old houses are energy hogs. Some were built to energy efficiency levels that are higher than most new housing being built today. Recently I listed for sale just such a house. This is a multi level style with over 2,000 square feet of living area above grade. Built for the owner with 9 inch thick walls rated at R-28, a heat recovery ventilation system and baseboard electric heat, this house is at the top tier of energy efficiency even today.

The NB Power bills from the last twelve months including taxes total under $3,000. That's a 12 month average of just $250 per month. If you would like to see the billing summary it's on the web site at www.29Aurora.info.
